Yesterday she might have been the most exemplary and exuberant eight year old in town, but today she is the neatest and nicest nine year old you’ll ever find.
A few things about Kenna that we love.
1. She likes to eat meat. It was bacon for breakfast and steak for dinner.

2. She has high hopes of being the first girl to play for the BYU Football team.

3. She prefers the cold to the hot.

4. She is an amazing big sister and we all know how lucky we are to have her.

5. She is currently boycotting all things girl such as-dressing up on Sunday or any shade of pink. Red
was her favorite color until moving to Utah, now its Blue. Did I mention she was loyal (to those cougars).

And today she’ll be celebrating her b-day by missing school to perform in her first school choir concert.
I know it’s like beating a dead horse but I’ll say it again anyway. Time never stops and McKenna never misses a minute. Blink and you’ll miss something new she did or learned. Therefore, I blink only when necessary.
Happy Birthday McKenna. We wish you another amazing year with lots more fun and learning and trying and liking and playing and everything else you love to do. You are the best and we love you so much!
McKenna now shares her birthday with another in our family. A hairy little one year old. He is not so exemplary but just as exuberant. Happy Birthday to you too Max.
